Carole H. Evans lives in Salt Lake City, Utah where she is a fulltime painter. She is a graduate of the University Of Utah, receiving a BFA in Fine Art and Painting. Continued study with national and local teachers has added to her on-going learning process of painting. Her award winning paintings are included in private, corporate and museum collections. Oil is the medium of choice, however, experimenting with other mediums is of interest. Layers of paint and glazing give depth to her work. The palette knife is a favorite tool in applying paint which gives freedom in putting ideas and feelings on canvas. The artist has a deep love for the land which is a frequent subject for paintings.
